From Ray’s Family And Extended Family
My dad was a wonderful man and father. He was always there when I needed him. He instilled many qualities in me such as being responsible, caring and understanding. The most wonderful quality I have gained from him is to give to others, especially those not as fortunate as we are. He’s a tough act to follow but certainly one to aspire to.
Carol Rose, Daughter

Ray was indeed a great soul and his goodness will long be remembered.
He had a heart of indescribable size and we will miss him immensely.
Ray’s very obvious love for, and pride in, his wife was extremely touching but he still had plenty left over for everyone else in the family as well.
Ray meant so very much to me and my family, and on several occasions he made a true difference in our lives. Always kind and generous.
I will remember him as the epitome of a gentleman.
I loved Uncle Ray and always admired him and looked up to him. He was always such a joy to be around.
The service was a fabulous tribute to him. Listening to everyone reminded me to live my own life with integrity and dignity.
Uncle Ray was my true hero. I loved him very much.
It isn’t often that so many people can be touched by such a loving man.
Uncle Ray had the most pure heart of anyone that I know. Being able to take him out on your little boat each summer
was a highlight for me, and I know that it was for him too. I’ll miss him.
Together you and Ray took life’s purpose seriously “taking the world as it is and making it better” before moving on.
Uncle Ray was very special to us; he treated us so well.
Uncle Ray was someone who touched many more lives than most in ways that were more positive than anyone I have ever known of.
His impact and his example are very much alive in many hearts.
