From People Who Worked For Or With Ray
I always looked forward to sitting next to Ray at Industry events and discussing the problems of the world and how to solve them. Besides our close friendship, he was sort of like my second father, and was very special to me. There was no one in our industry that was more loved and respected than Ray.
Having worked for him for sixteen years, it is no secret that I admired him tremendously.
He can never be replaced. Mr. Tye was an angel on earth; he is now one in heaven.
I celebrate his life that made this world a brighter and better place.
He was the only true gentleman in the business – the quiet philanthropist who spoke volumes.
Having worked at his home in Cambridge, I feel blessed to have known Mr. Tye. Some feel their duty is only to help family members; Mr. Tye reached out to all, any stranger in need became a family member to him.
I will never forget how good he was to me when I lost my son (9 years ago) while I worked for him.
I had the pleasure of working with Ray over the past ten years. He exemplified all that is good in a person and in a businessman. His legacy will live long beyond his physical years and I feel blessed to have had the time with him that I did.
Ray remained delightful, sweet and sincere throughout his illness. Rest assured that we are striving to develop more effective, less toxic approaches for the treatment of patients like Ray. His memory will serve to bolster our efforts.
God gives us all gifts – some of us use them and some people like Mr. Tye use them to the utmost. He will be an inspiration and a reminder for me that no matter what our stage in life we all have something to give – and we should.
Our children will always have such fond memories of Mr. Tye. hey so enjoyed his company.
He was a caring and great man and I valued my time with him. My job was to help him exercise, stretch and feel better. However, he spent more time asking about me and my family. He was genuinely interested and cared. He had a true gift in touching people.
Few individuals leave as lasting an impression as he did on so many. I know that I’m a better person for having the chance to know and work with him.
